Sampling day in our annual/perennial project. The sampling has to be done quickly, so Ane gathered the group to help. Great fun! 🌾🌾🌾
We have been lucky to have Sigve in our group as an internship student from University of Nantes πŸ˜€ Sigve has analysed data that will help us unravel the physiological differences between annual and perennial grasses 🌾 #plantscience #evolution #grasses #plantevitenskapnmbu #mittnmbu
Inspiring days in beautiful Leuven! - Amazing results in the lab and very good talks about our joint projects with @vdewim and @drporras at @kuleuven. Thanks for your hospitality! Also, a little touch of spring was more than welcome for us northerners 🌼🌼
Congratulations with your Master of Science degree @hermandoz!
Sampling day in our overwintering experiment! Together with @vdewim at @kuleuven in Belgium we will look deeper into the sweet secrets of the grasses. 🌾🌾🌾
Thanks for great days in amazing Istanbul! Attending the 9th International fructan symposium @ifs_2022 in Istanbul, we felt very welcomed into the fructan community lead by @ebrutoksoyoner and Wim Van den Ende.
At this time of the year other plant scientists are harvesting their plants - but we are planting ours out. Why? To find out what the grasses are doing during winter. Do they sleep? Are they dead? Of course not! But exactly what they do we do not know. We will find out!
We are happy to welcome Ane as a PhD-student in our group! Her work will be on evolution of annual and perennial life histories in temperate grasses. We look forward to learn what she finds out! #plantevitenskapnmbu #mittnmbu #nmbu #plantscience #evolution #grasses #skpnmbu #senterforklimaregulertplanteforskning
Summer is high season for plant scientists! Today we are sampling maturing wheat grains. What can these grains tell us about the evolution of gluten genes? We will soon find out! #nmbu #senterforklimaregulertplanteforskning #mittnmbu #instituttforplantevitenskap #plantscience
Our research group welcomes and values diversity. We send our thoughts and support to members of the Pride family.
We are immensely proud to have the best lecturer at NMBU in our group! Congratulations Camilla! #mittnmbu #plantevitenskapnmbu
Finally hanging out with the group again!🀩 Having a great time celebrating that all of @uninmbu is finally gathered at one campus.
